A "must do" stop on your trip to the Sunshine Coast. Cute, quirky cafe. Great, healthy food (they make kale taste good). Friend staff. Recommended.

This is such a cute village cafe. The pizza looked great, but we were not there to eat. I went next door to the chocolate and fine food shop, where they sell items such as locally made chocolate, ice cream, honey, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and candles. The chocolate tasted delicious- I had the shortbread caramel chocolate.
It's situated in a quaint little village that is made up of several wooden houses. Each structure has local retailers selling artisanal products in it.
The shops are just a couple minutes' walk down to the ocean/beach. -

Great casual cafe located in Roberts Creek serving all-day breakfast, baked treats, coffee, and beer/wine. Order at the counter; food will be delivered to your table. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The baked marinara eggs are tasty and a modest portion of food. The breakfast burrito is jammed with all sorts of beans and eggs and veggies and is a hearty meal. Daily pizza and soup offerings. Local art displayed on the walls. Bicycle rack located in front of the cafe. Gender-neutral washroom located within the cafe. Kid-friendly. Don't miss this Sunshine Coast gem!

This was super delicious! We got on the early boat to Gibson's and realized quickly that nothing opens up early here. Except Gumboot. We made the drive over from Gibson's (about 10 mins) and it was so worth it. The baked eggs in marinara was one of the best breakfasts I've had and they had heavy cream for my coffee ( not a lot of coffee shops do) was a great experience. Can't wait to come back

So I thought this was the infamous Gumboot Restaurant when I ate here, so maybe that colored my view, but I thought it was just OK. This felt kinda greasy spoonish with wobbling and sort of dirty seating tables and long lines sneaking through seating area. I had the Italian Baked Eggs, and they were good but didn't knock my socks off. I couldn't figure out why everyone raved about "The Gumboot" until I walked a little further and discovered there is a separate Gumboot RESTAURANT behind some trees and a parking area. Now that Gumboot knocked my socks right off into the next week! Now understanding the difference, Gumboot CAFE is a decent little basic cafe that also has a baked goods case and drinks and is OK for what it is meant to be, but don't get it mixed up with the far superior Gumboot Restaurant!
